    How laser hair removal works

Laser hair removal targets pigment in the hair follicle to reduce unwanted hair over a series of treatments. Your clinician will assess your skin and hair, explain what to expect, and tailor settings to suit the treatment area.

Because hair grows in cycles, most clients need a course of treatments for the best visible reduction. Maintenance sessions may be recommended depending on your hair growth, hormones and goals.

    Popular treatment areas

Book laser hair removal for face and body areas including underarms, Brazilian, bikini, legs, arms, back, chest, shoulders, neck, lip and chin. Full-body options and treatment packs are available for clients wanting a more complete plan.

If you are unsure which area to select, book a consultation or contact the clinic and the team can guide you to the right appointment.

    Before your appointment

For best results, shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your appointment. Avoid waxing, plucking or threading before treatment, as the laser needs the hair follicle present. Avoid fake tan and recent heavy sun exposure, and tell your clinician about any medication changes or skin sensitivity.

Arrive with clean skin where possible, without heavy lotions, oils or deodorant on the treatment area.

    Aftercare

After treatment, keep the area cool and avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise and direct sun exposure for the period advised by your clinician. Use SPF on exposed areas and avoid active exfoliants until the skin has settled.

Mild redness or warmth can be normal after laser. If you are concerned, contact your clinic for advice.

Is it suitable for everyone? Suitability depends on your skin, hair colour, medical history, recent sun exposure and medications. Your clinician will assess this before treatment.
