Less hair, less fuss.
Shaving, waxing and ingrown hairs take time and irritate skin. Laser hair removal slows and reduces growth over a course. We'll be honest about how many sessions you'll need.

How laser hair removal works
Laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. It heats the follicle and slows its ability to grow new hair.
Hair grows in cycles. Laser only works on hairs in the active growth stage. That is why you need a course of sessions, spaced weeks apart.
Most people need 6 to 8 sessions. Some areas need more, and a top-up now and then keeps results.
Laser works best on dark hair. Very fair, grey or red hair responds poorly. We check this at your consult.
The common reasons
Ingrown hairs
Shaving and waxing can trap hairs under the skin. Fewer hairs means fewer ingrowns.
Razor rash
Daily shaving irritates skin, especially on the face, bikini and underarms.
Time
Less shaving and waxing means less time spent on upkeep.
Hormones
Hormone changes can cause new hair on the face and body. Some causes need a GP check first.
The treatments we use for unwanted hair
Laser reduces hair over time. Epi-Dermal Levelling removes fine facial hair on the day. Your therapist matches them to your skin and hair at consultation.

We check your skin and hair type, and do a patch test. Then we map your plan.
Prepare
Shave the area before each visit. Avoid waxing, plucking and tanning between sessions.
Reduce
A course of 6 to 8 sessions, 4 to 8 weeks apart. Hair thins and slows each time.
Maintain
A top-up now and then keeps regrowth down. Daily SPF protects treated skin.
What to expect: most clients see less hair after 2 to 3 sessions. A full course takes around 6 to 12 months. Laser reduces hair but may not remove every hair. Results vary by skin.
Hair removal, in our clients' words

No more panic shave
Laser slows and reduces hair growth. That means less upkeep and fewer ingrown hairs.

What laser actually does
Light targets the hair at the root and slows regrowth over time. We set it to your skin and hair.

Put the razor down
Fewer ingrowns, less irritation and less shaving. Most people need a course of sessions to see the change.
Results vary by skin.
What you do at home matters
Treated skin needs gentle care. A calming balm, a light serum and daily SPF help skin settle between sessions. Your therapist prescribes what suits you.

Your hair removal questions, answered
Is laser hair removal permanent?
It reduces hair a lot, but it may not remove every hair. Some hairs grow back finer. Occasional top-ups keep results.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people need 6 to 8 sessions, 4 to 8 weeks apart. Face and hormonal areas may need more. We confirm this at consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel a quick snap or warmth. It's usually short and easy to manage.
Is there downtime?
Skin may look pink or slightly bumpy for a few hours to a day. Avoid sun, heat and exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
Will it work on my hair?
Laser works best on dark hair. Very fair, grey or red hair responds poorly. Epi-Dermal Levelling is an option for fine facial hair.
Can laser help hair loss on my head?
No. Laser hair removal is for unwanted hair. For thinning hair on the scalp, book a consult and we'll talk you through your options.
