Calmer skin starts with a calmer plan.
Redness has triggers. Heat, sun and the wrong products can all make it flare. Our dermal therapists find your triggers first. Then we reduce visible redness in stages.

Why skin turns red
Rosacea is a long-term skin condition. Small blood vessels in the face widen and stay visible. The skin barrier is often weak, so skin reacts more easily.
It usually shows on the cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. Some people also get bumps, burning or stinging.
Rosacea can't be cured. It can be calmed and controlled with the right treatment and daily care.
What makes redness flare
Sun
UV is one of the most common triggers. It also weakens the vessels over time.
Heat
Hot weather, hot showers and exercise widen blood vessels. Redness follows.
Food & drink
Alcohol, spicy food and hot drinks are common triggers for many people.
Stress
Stress can set off a flare. Flares can then cause more stress.
Weather
Wind and cold dry the skin and weaken its barrier.
The wrong skincare
Harsh scrubs, fragrance and strong actives can sting reactive skin. Gentle care comes first.
Flushing
Redness that comes and goes, often with heat or emotion.
Persistent redness
Redness that stays, with visible small vessels.
Bumps
Red bumps that can look like acne, without blackheads.
Sensitivity
Skin that stings, burns or reacts to products.
The treatments we use for redness
Light and laser target the vessels behind redness. Gentle facials calm and support the barrier. Your therapist matches them to your skin at consultation.

BroadBand Light (BBL)
Light energy is absorbed by the small vessels that cause redness. They fade over the following weeks. Skin tone looks more even.

Laser Genesis™
A gentle laser warms the skin below the surface. It reduces diffuse redness and supports collagen. No downtime.

The Skin Boutique Experience
A facial tailored to reactive skin on the day. It cleanses, hydrates and calms without harsh steps.

LED Facial
Low-level light supports skin healing and calms inflammation. Comfortable, with no downtime. A good add-on between sessions.

Your plan, stage by stage
Consult
We assess your redness, sensitivity and triggers. Then we map your plan.
Calm
Weeks 1–4. Gentle homecare and daily SPF repair the barrier and settle reactions.
Reduce
Weeks 4–12. BBL or Laser Genesis target visible vessels and redness, matched to your skin.
Maintain
Daily SPF, barrier care and maintenance visits help keep flares down.
What to expect: most clients need a course of around 3 sessions, about a month apart. Redness can return with triggers, so maintenance matters. Results vary by skin.

Your rosacea questions, answered
Can rosacea be cured?
No, but it can be controlled. Treatment reduces visible redness and vessels. Knowing your triggers and daily care help keep it calm.
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients need around 3 sessions of BBL or Laser Genesis, about a month apart. Some need more. Your therapist confirms this at consultation.
Is there downtime?
Laser Genesis and LED have no downtime. After BBL, skin may look pink or slightly swollen for a day or two. We explain this before you book.
Will treatment make my skin worse?
Reactive skin needs a careful approach. We assess your skin first and start gently. Harsh treatments are avoided while skin is flaring.
Do I need to wear SPF?
Yes, every day. Sun is a common trigger. Daily SPF helps protect your results.
