Acne is treatable. It takes a plan.
Breakouts start in the pore. We treat the cause, not just the spot. Our dermal therapists build a staged plan of clinical treatments and homecare. Then we guide you through each stage.

How a breakout forms
A pore fills with oil and dead skin cells. Bacteria grow inside the blocked pore. The skin responds with inflammation. That is the red, tender spot you see.
Untreated, inflamed acne can leave marks and scarring. It affects teens and adults. Adult acne is often hormonal and sits along the jaw and chin. It is one of the most common reasons clients see us.
Acne responds well to treatment when the cause is addressed.
What drives a breakout
Excess oil
Overactive oil glands clog pores. Oil also feeds acne bacteria.
Dead skin build-up
Cells that don't shed trap oil in the pore. This forms blackheads and whiteheads.
Bacteria & inflammation
Bacteria trapped in the pore trigger inflammation. The result is red papules and pustules.
Hormones
Your cycle, stress and life stage can shift oil production. Flare-ups often appear on the jaw and chin.
Diet & lifestyle
High-GI foods, poor sleep and stress can all contribute.
The wrong skincare
Harsh or heavy products can worsen congestion. So can environmental build-up.
Congestion
Blackheads, whiteheads and bumpy texture.
Inflammatory
Red papules and pustules.
Hormonal
Deeper, cyclical breakouts along the jaw.
Post-acne marks
Redness, pigment and texture left after a breakout heals.
The treatments we use for acne
Each one has a specific job. Your therapist matches them to your acne type at consultation.

Lira Skin Peels
A clinical peel loosens dead skin cells that block pores. This clears congestion and calms active breakouts. Texture refines over a course.

BroadBand Light (BBL)
Targeted light reaches acne bacteria in the skin. It also treats redness left after breakouts.

The HydraFacial
Vortex suction extracts oil and debris from blocked pores. Skin is then cleansed and hydrated. It is gentle on reactive skin.

LED Facial
Healite II LED light reduces inflammation. It supports healing between your other treatments.

Skin Needling
Fine needles create controlled micro-injuries. Skin responds by making new collagen. This smooths texture and softens scarring. We start once breakouts have settled.

Rejuran Skin Needling
Polynucleotides (PN) are delivered into the skin to support repair. Post-acne texture improves as skin regenerates.

Acne, in our clients' words

Amber's acne plan
Skin analysis under OBSERV, then a plan built for her: in-clinic treatments, Lira peels, home care and LED.

Don't treat everything at once
The most common acne mistake we see, and why a staged plan works better.

Mackenzie's acne plan
She'd tried to clear her skin on her own. A plan built around her skin made the difference.

Calming congested, inflamed acne
She came to us frustrated by congestion and inflammation. We treated the cause, step by step.

Beyond cutting out dairy
Mackenzie had tried diet changes for inflamed, congested skin. A tailored plan was the next step.

Inflammation, congestion, scarring
One plan, three goals: calm the inflammation, clear congestion, then soften scarring.

LED, session by session
LED calms inflammation and supports repair. Results build with regular sessions, not overnight.

Treatment plus home care
Clinical treatments and consistent home care, working together to calm active breakouts.
Results vary by skin.
What you do at home matters

Your acne questions, answered
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients start with 4–6 treatments. They are spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Your therapist confirms the number at consultation.
Which treatment is best for my acne?
It depends on your acne type. Congestion responds to peels and HydraFacial. Inflamed acne responds to BBL and LED. Scarring responds to needling. Your consultation tells us which suits you.
Can you treat acne scarring too?
Yes. We treat scarring once breakouts are under control. Skin Needling and Rejuran smooth texture and soften marks.
Is there downtime?
HydraFacial and LED have none. Peels and needling can cause mild redness or flaking. This usually settles within a few days.
Do I need to change my skincare?
Usually, yes. Daily homecare supports what we do in clinic. Your therapist will build a simple routine and explain each step.
