Benign symmetric pigmented flattened macule that rarely changes size or location and average around 1cm in diameter. Found in sun exposed areas.
Such as the outer halo of the face, backs of arms and hands and décolleté.
They are an indicator of repeated sun exposure and an annual dermatology check for skin cancer or changes are advisable.
